At least not after finding these products on the shelf.

Under $3 12oz. bag at my local Krogers. These pretzels are to die for. Halfway through the bag and each one tastes as good as the first.

I'm not easily impressed especially with snack foods but Snyder's hit this out of the ballpark.

And I'll never look at ketchup the same way again

We do have a few problems up here... and that anyone would even think of such a thing is one of them
What's next? Chocolate-mint- guacamole ice cream?

French’s creates summer’s worst treat: a ‘horrifying’ ketchup-flavored popsicle

"...Available at pop-up locations in Canada until June 24, French’s is foraying into the dessert world in collaboration with Happy Pops, a local Canadian business specializing in all-natural ice pops made from real fruit and sweetened with organic cane sugar.

According to a press release, the dubious tomato-based dessert is from 100% Canadian tomatoes and “combines some of the best traditions the season has to offer: ketchup and popsicles.”

Here. We have been enjoying those for years.......Carry on.

I've been a fan of Snyders Sour Dough pretzels since the came to Central Ohio in the late 60's. They came in a cardboard drum that held 2 pounds for 69 cents! The went to the one-pound box in about 1972. I haven't kept records, but my consumption is rated by tonnage!

When we go camping for a long weekend, I allocate one box a day for me and one box a day for everyone else. As the campfire dies to a dull glow, anyone can find me by following the loud Crunch, Crunch, Crunch!

As to potato chips, "Charle's Chips" has it hands down!

If you've ever lived in Pennsylvania Dutch country you know there are pretzel makers all over the place. Several have web sites where you can order direct. My current favorite is Martin's Pretzels
– Martin's Handmade Pretzels

Hand made since 1935. All sorts of varieties available. I usually buy a 10 pound box of broken/unsalted. YMMV.

Ivan. I remember as a kid my parents had a large metal can of Charles Chips, along with a tin of Charles Pretzels delivered to the house every couple of weeks. Big brown "Charles Chips" delivery truck. My dad thought they were as good as it got, and tried to make them last, but fortunately those big tins were hard to hide....:) We used to keep the cans for storing tools and assorted gear. This would have been in the late 1960's.

Lot of good chip / pretzel makers here in PA.

Ya know, I was getting fired up for some pretzels & chips & dip; then I saw that picture of Heinz Ketchup Popsicles. What a taste-buzz-kill! May as well make pickle-juice flavored Kool-Ade, too.
I have some leftover short ribs I smoked Sunday that I'm gonna wash the imaginary taste that's lingering around my mouth with.
