I'll probably have to turn my membership card in now

A10 ... Check out Texas Triggers. I've heard TT's drop-in FCGs are even better than the G2 units that most everyone upgrades with.

Whats the difference? The letter from BATFE that says it ain't a stock!:D

There was a recent discussion about the "brace vs. stock" on one of the leading AK forums. Those braces are skating very thin BATF ice, irrespective of their legality. The best way to avoid problems is to spring for the $200 tax stamp and do the SBR correctly.

Well, I for one just never warmed up to the AK look. Had a co-worker run out of ammo while in combat, he picked up an AK to keep fighting, and took a wound from his own guys! They saw the AK and figured he was VC, so he got a 5.56mm in the leg! Guess that story stuck with me.

I almost feel a little bit dirty seeing pics of such bad guns-now that's a reason to give up a membership card! I think the Libs are getting to me...

Nice gun! Who says the commies never got anything right?

The G2 isn't actually an UPGRADE. In fact more often than not the original FCG is of much much better quality. Same parts that have been tested over and over on battlefields around the world. The problem is the 922r law requiring certain amount of USA made parts. The FCG is 3 easy parts

I wouldn't worry too much about it now. They come in many different calibers....7.62, 5.45, 5.56, 308, 30-06, 7.62x54, 22lr, 6.5 Grendel, 12G, 20G, 410, so now you can take the ammo!

That, and I haven't seen any black-pajama clad VC running around the wilds of New Mexico recently.
