Those are some really......

.... good looking kitties. We lost our kitty recently but my wife feeds a Mom and her baby that hang around the house. They are really skitterish and the mother has let Miissus Smiff touch her, like once, but both of them take off on my appearance. I suppose to them I:

1) Look like an ogre.

2) I don't feed them.

I'm picturing this in my head and laughing until tears are streaming out.

Even in her golden years, she's still spicy like that.
It was only a few years ago that she stopped trying to shove my wife out of bed

I went in to have our vacuum cleaner repaired. Walked out with a new $800.00 one because of a pretty face. You guessed it, wife brought it back and had the old one fixed.

I had a cat and thought it loved me, so I let it go. It didn't come back. Good riddance.

This is my most recent employer..... She was the smallest of her litter, always late to eat, a bit clumsy (for a cat) and last for everything. She wasn't going to make it through the approaching winter, so she came to live at our place. We have been on her staff for several years. She has evolved into the largest cat that has ever had me on staff.

Just an update, I stopped over at the house on my way back from the dump this afternoon and was talking with the person that lives next door to the "cat house" and he said that so far animal control has caught 11, and I think neighborhood residents have taken 6 or 7 but there were still quite a few running around.

Does my heart good to see them being taken care of. My two are settling in quite nicely, they have bonded with each other and are bonding with me. Not bad for less than 2 days!
