I'm kinda Bummed

I'm surprised that you don't need a cane. Keep it up! :)
I studied videos of amputees that had learned to walk with the help of a prosthesis.
Then I read a story of a double amputee that climbed Mt. Everest on 2 knee down prosthetic limbs.
Well, I have 1 leg that still pretty much works and if I can get the other leg to swing my foot up, I can get moving along rather well.
I wear light supportive boots and that helps too.
It's easiest for me to go up. Up stairs, up mountains, up curbs, etc.. Seems those muscles work best. It's the coming back down part that gets to be a bit challenging sometimes.
Stepping off of curbs can be an interesting challenge. Walking on flat even ground can get to be a bit tiring.
I do know that I won't be able to keep it up forever and I've kinda been designing a cane that'd fit me. Something with a leather wrap and some beads and feathers. Not too elaborate, just a little gimpy Injun style.
