I'm looking for one, maybe two books. I'm interested in a biography of Frank Hamer and maybe a biography on Bonnie and Clyde and maybe again a book about the manhunt for Bonnie and Clyde if the other two don't sufficiently cover it.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

FWIW on this date in 1934 Frank Hamer and Bonnie and Clyde's paths crossed for the last time.

Lots of Bonnie & Clyde books...perhaps the two best are "Go Down Together", Jeff Guinn, and "Bonnie and Clyde", Paul Schneider. Though not strictly Bonnie and Clyde, "Running with Bonnie and Clyde", John Neal Phillips...The ten fast years of Ralph Fults. Excellent book as are the other two. "My life with Bonnie and Clyde", Blanche Barrow, is another good one. Much overlapping material, but each book is unique and offers some things not covered in the other books.

As for Frank Hamer, the one someone already suggested is easily the best and there has been a lot written about Hamer. .

Based on the input I've got from all three discussions I'm going to go with Go Down Together by Jeff Guin and Texas Ranger by John Bossnecker.

Thanks everyone for your input.
