I'm thinking about a 32 cal for daughters

H&R made some 6 shot solid frame revolvers in 32 long. It is what my wife prefers. Accurate, light and costs pennies to reload.

My 15 year old daughter is on the smallish side and the 32 Long is the only center fire revolver she likes to shoot. Among my 32's she likes is a S&W 30, 4" and a H&R 732, 4".

Yeah, I've tried to get her to shoot larger calibers, but those are what she likes and shoots well. I'm not going to push the issue especially since she will help reload for the 32's.

I've pretty much abandoned the S&W 30 to her

If it was my Daughter I would get her a S&W 642 Light weight, just pull the trigger . all she needs to know....

I think the 32 or the 380 is a good choice for the ladies, My wife shot her model 60 for the first time last weekend and did not like the recoil at all. Womens hands are not as strong as mens I think and I brought along my colt in 380 and it was love at first shot. Recoil was about half and controlability was far better. Now if I can get her to pull the slide back by herself I just might have solved the problem....

Superfly, have your wife try .38 spl. 148 gr. target wadcutters in that model 60. They will work well for practice and defense. In fact, I use a wadcutter handload in my wife's model 60.
