so just to be clear kkm only does 1-16 for the internal twist rate on 9mm barrels, but they have multiple external threading options. Is this correct?
Shipwreck2, looking at my emails with KKM they said 1:20 twist rate as well. I would not get too concerned over the twist rate, the barrel shoots straighter than I can. You have to call and specify the thread you want, I chose the 1/2" x 28 threads, I think they have a M13.5x1LH thread option as well. You just have to call and specify if you know which attachment you are going to use with it. Here is an email I had with KKM.
Dan,
The threads are per what the manufactures spec are for each suppressor. There is about .450 of threads. This leaves about .150 at the rear. We do not offer our barrels in black. We have found the 1-20 to be great in the 9mm. Barrels are $165. & $50. for threading.

Barry,
We are seeing better accuracy with 147 gr bullets with the 1-20 twist than the 1-10. We did not just guess at this.

I'm not the worlds greatest shooter. My eyes are not what they used to be. Here is a target I shot with the KKM the first three shots circled the bullseye. Those were about 12-13 yrds, about 36 feet or so.
Did you get the kkm?
As of April 2015, what options do I have for threaded 9mm barrel? I bought the Pro CORE in 40 and I want to get a 40-9 conversion barrel that is threaded. Are we still unable to buy S&W threaded barrels?
