Walmart has Federal 223 100 round boxes in stock this morning in the KC area.
Looks like Rockland has a bunch of 223/5.56 in stock right now.

If you are in El Paso Texas the LGS's on the west side have all the 223/556 you could want as does the Academy on the west side though Academy stll has a limit on it. As to price its in the 50-60 cents a round for 5.56. I paid $9.99 this morning for a 20 round box of AE 5.56 62grain ammo. Bulk is also available.

Walked into a local Walmart store this afternoon, and first made My usual trip past the sports counter.
There was a box of 50 Remington 223's for $26.27, and a box of 40 WW 223's for $34.97.
First time I've seen 223 ammo in that store for over a year, and I just had to oblidge....I left the Winchesters for someone else.
Really didn't need the ammo, but couldn't resist the temptation.
