This video reminds me of a saying in a navy seal video I saw, "You either put out or get out!". This guy put out for all he was worth and more!

Both the bear and guy walked away with a story to tell.

Cheers,
John.

You may have heard me repeat the "F" bomb over and over as I ran for my life.

Scary stuff for sure,I bet You never peddled so fast in Your life.

Boo! Hiss! What a bunch of horse pucky. Phonier than my granny's teeth. Wish I knew how to put a Bronx Cheer in print.

You can't just hide behind a tree from bear. They have the best sense of smell of any mammal. 7 times better than a BLOODHOUND. That guy woulda been snack time for ole brown bear.

Now looking at it on my computer monitor and with a more critical eye it is most definitely a fake. On the cell phone and not expecting it to be a fake like aliene videos (I don't waste much time on that nonesense, it gets old after a while.) it seemed plausible.

I will be more carefull of what I spread around next time!

A bear can run 30 mph for short bursts.

The very best mountain biker might be able to hit 17 on the flat if the track was very smooth.

So BS, do not try this at home.

Excuse me?! 17 mph I can run on foot much less on a bike, I did 22 mph at 16 years old on a mtb on a trail and I wasn't half what a avid cyclist can do.

It's a fake no question but you possibly could hit 30 maybe 35 on a mtg if your life depended on it and you were fit.

On pavement, you can easily do about 30. I know, I did that once when Patties dad caught me sneaking out of her room and gave chase. No, nothing nasty either. I just happened to fall asleep while there one night.
