A while back, I saw another member post some grip work done by our own Curt Harlow (44magget). Curt took some nice-looking smooth K frame targets and transformed them into some beautiful K frame cokes. I contacted Curt and asked if he would take on a pair for me and he agreed to do so. I had a very nice set of black washer N frame smooth targets that fit my older 29-2 perfectly but were just a bit too big for my gurlyman hands. I also had a set of black washer targets that I wanted to refinish, and Curt agreed to do those as well. Well, I just got them both back today and holy bejesus they are gorgeous! Curt's magic on the smooth targets not only gave them the coke look, but also the profile and now they fit my hand perfectly. The refinish on the targets was also superb. Curt is a true craftsman and a real gentleman to deal with. Please excuse the not so quality photos, but they are well worth a look. Thanks again Curt!

Curt is the best. His skill is very impressive, especially his checkering.
He is a gentleman, like a lot of people on this forum, that is a rare commodity these days.
This might be the stocks to witch you refer. 😎

Curt "restyled" an older set of grips for me and I bought a pair of his "Roper" style grips. Both are great and he is a pleasure to do business with!

They certainly are. I keep looking at them. They make your revolver look great. A M29 like yours, personalized, is always worth a second look.

There are some very talented craftsmen here and a BUNCH of very nice people. This is a good place to hang out.:)

All you need now is a tweed jacket and a sweater vest and you're ready to go! lol

OP very nice grips. I have seen some of Curt's work, and it is outstanding. Just wondering what are his average turn around times?

He did mine in a couple weeks, but I was lucky enough to be at the head of his list. Now I am on the wait list for a second set. I am starting another thread about the L frame Culina round butt combats he did for me. Excellent work!

Wow. Beautiful grips, very impressive work. How does one contact Curt? Does he have a website?
