I'd love to have an Uplula but I don't think the price is justified in my case. I don't shoot tons of ammo at the range, mostly due to the cost of ammo. Can anyone recommend a good cheap loader for my M&P 40

Let's see here-

$30 for something that can be used EVERY time that you shoot every one of your pistols on every magazine that you spend 30-50 cents PER round to shoot making the loading of EVERY magazine a pleasure.

I would say that is pretty cheap, especially compared to buying a holster that can only be used for one pistol and then sits in a drawer!

my first loader was an HKS model, maybe $10-15 +/- and actually works just fine for my full size 9 mag .
I know in the long run i will be getting an Uplula as i expand my handgun collection, but for now as i only had the one "non-.22" it does the job well.

If you know someone with and XD, XDM, or Glock (all pistols that come packed with a free cheapo mag loader) who has an UpLULA, they'll probably GIVE you their factory loader. :)

I also recommend the Uplula...

After trying a half dozen cheaper loaders to use on various magazines, I found that buying one Uplula was less expensive in the long run.

You can't afford not to own one.

This says what you need to know. In a month or so the memory of the price will fade away, but you'll still be loading your magazines the easy way. Just buy it.

+5 saw the video and did not think twice. After 20 years of doing it the hard way in the Service this was a relief. The better half won't even try to load mags without it.

I bought a SuperLoader for my son for his 9MM Ruger. He likes it. It is a bit more simple than the UpLuLa loader but functional. About $8.00.

Add my "me too" for Uplula.

Uplula. Paid for itself in a few range trips in pain meds I did not have to use.

I use it on two types of 9mm mag and three types of 45. Just buy it!

Never found one better. Get the one you will wind up with eventually anyway.

Oops! Looks like you did already. You'll love it.

I thought I was satisfied with my $10 ADCO loader (and I was) until this thread and its associated videos showed up. I just ordered an UpLULA from Amazon. Looking forward to its first use.
