I'm seeing on the other Forum that folks are starting to receive their copies! I'm waiting until after the Christmas rush to get mine ordered. From what I have seen they turned out beautifully!

Yup. Ordered a pre-publication copy from Thrift Books in Dallas, Texas, on July 14, 2024. It arrived yesterday, December 18, 2024. They're not much for communication. But, I'm very satisfied with the final results!

Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson, 5th Ed. Dec. 2024
If anyone has purchased prior editions, like me, you recognize Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson to be the authority on anything Smith & Wesson. However, after just the first hour reviewing this new publication, I have found the fifth edition to be a fantastic addition to my firearms reference library.

I agree 100%! Great job Jim and Richard. I also want to thank you for including many of us in the "Smith-WessonForum.com Contributors" section on Page 6. I just gave my copy of the 3rd Ed. to my son for reference, but I'm hanging on to the 4th Ed.

I just received my 5th Ed. and really haven't had a chance to go through it in detail. I'm not sure if you're looking for typos yet...but on Page 377 below the picture of "Model 686:...", the photo title is "Mode 686s.Photos: Supica" which s/b "Model 686s." Just a tiny nit buried deep in an outstanding compilation of information!
