Yup, still using the stock buffer, just tossed that A2 spring in there and let her rip. No issues since either. I have taken a couple range trips between then and now and no hang ups. Still shooting bulk mil-surplus ammo with no problems through DPMS and Magpul magazines.
I am attempting to install a Magpul MOE stock on my M&P 10 and have no idea what the point of the spacer is or where is goes or if the spacer that midwayusa sent me is right. I know that it's probably common sense; and that would be why I'm confused. Please help. I am just trying to use the regular MOE stock with the factory buffer tube and spring. I don't see why a spacer is needed as the MOE stock fits just like the factory stock. The spacer midwayusa sent my is about 3/4 of an inch long. All it does is stop the stock from going to the shortest setting and it moves freely around the empty space when the stock is extended.
