I was just helping someone else with this topic.. Please make sure you get the AR10 PRS stock, if you get the ar15 version the charging handle will not fully extend and you will not be able to cycle. Also I got my spacer from S&W, it was a pain to reach someone as they were supper slammed, but the spacer was cheap and arrived in two weeks. In fact, my gun smith put everything together for me, and also found the spacer to be quite an easy, and ingenious fix to the rifle not cycling correctly. You can see my rifle and all its glory for sale in the Gunsforsale section of the forum .. ;D
Tried that and it is still short stroking, and stove piping. Turned my perfectly good gun into a bolt action. Any suggestions before I ship it to a qualified gun smith?
Brand new to the forum, and I have to say you guys have lowered my stress by a ton. I installed a Magpul UBR stock and had all kinds of short stroking. I changed gas tube, gas block as I am running a Midwest Industry SS 15inch hand guard and though I may have had an issue with the low profile kit I installed. Now I just have to figure out which spring will run it if I am reading things right. I run a lot of AR-15 stuff, and while this MP-10 is similar in many ways, it has it's own list of parts that have a learning curve.
Thanks again everyone. Hopefully I can contribute something to make up for the range disgust I have been dealing with lately.

Welcome aboard Chris. I noticed you mentioned that you replaced your gas tube ... do you have any information on what you replaced it with? Only asking because a lot of are lead to believe that the M&P 10 requires a proprietary length gas tube.
Regarding the spring, you can use the original spring and buffer. You might need to create a spacer to do this. To figure out if you need a spacer, use a measuring tape to measure the internal length of the original extension tube and the internal length of the UBR's extension tube. If they are the same internal length, no spacer is needed. If the UBR extension tube is longer, you will need to create a spacer equal to the difference of the internal tube length of the original and the UBR.
