Picked up these grips (they were advertised as K frame), but they don't fit my RB K frame. I have some early Hogue two piece notched grips that do fit, but not these. But still, nice grips, even with the wear on the checkering. Any thoughts as to who might have made them ?

I'm fairly sure these are Farrant grips. I bid on them too.;) The grips will only fit on a frame that has been cut for them.

My thinking was that they were also Farrant grips. The pin at the bottom of the frame is positioned correctly to fit in the grips. I just don't have a notched K frame (yet).

I, too, would guess Farrants. Hopefully one the forum's experts will chime in.

The styling certainly looks like a Farrant grip, as well as the cut-off on the toe of the grip frame for a modified revolver.
Also, Farrant often used a wood "plug" on the right side of the grip to cover up the screw hole.
