Locked the key in my wife's car. Could not get in (as far as extra key-don't go there
)

Yputube popped up with a 90 second video on how to do it on a 2006 Chevy Trailblazer with a wire with a hook on the end and a inflatable bag to wedge open the door enough to get the wwire in. Gawd I do so love youtube!!! Since I have long since gotten rid of my burglary tools, I fashioned a workable wire from a coat hanger and used a putty knofe and a couple of wooden spoons as my wedge. Was in the car in about 90 seconds. Worked just like the guy on youtube demonstrated.
Conclusion: Locking ones car only keeps the honest people out
