Internet TUPPERWARE Match

I'm rapidly losing the few shooting skills I had from lack of practice. I broke out the Feinwerkbau 63 (?) air pistol and put 10 rounds down range from the utility room into the far end of the garage. If I do this enough, perhaps my performance won't be so bad on subsequent matches.

I thank you all for your heartfelt response.

My Glock 17 is locked in the safe at home.
I am snowbirding....and I am still in Arizona.
I only have a stainless steel and aluminum/steel with me. :(

I do thank you all for the criticism, jabs and mocking.
I am up to it. :)
I can only hope that we punch holes and have a good time.

Nothing in my groveling redeems the Glock!

I'll play as soon as it stops raining and I can get to the range!

Hmmm. Light wind from the South tonight with rain arriving in the AM. Yours making its way up the coast?

Ok you get a pass this month since you're on the road and didn't know to bring the Glock. Shoot what you got. Although I bet quite a few here would say this is a perfect excuse to stop by the gun store. :D

I installed the On Target program to measure shot groups last night and I'm learning to use it. I couldn't get the newer version to install at all and had to go with the original free release.

Learning to use it, maybe I'll email the creator and see if I can't get the newer run working as the older one is just a bit funky.

It seems that no one has posted the group sizes for their targets and included a photo of a ruler. How are we going to know which is the smallest group?

Well here is my entry...

5 round group shot at 5 yards. I measured the distance with the same tape measure seen in the second pic.

It was shot with a NIB Sphinx SDP in 9mm.

The On Target software I installed the other day claims to be able to do this. I'm working on learning how to use it. By any software standard it's quite old and I'm finding it has some odd behavior but I'm hoping to get it under control.

If it helps, if printed out unmodified, the targets in the original post are as follows:
Inner Circle: 2" x 3"
Outer Circle: 4" x 6"

I believe my XDMc and G26 shots could easily be transposed into the 2 x 3 ring. If not for the 1 'flier', my Shield group would be even smaller.

I'm 60. I own Glocks. Several. I won't buy any other handgun.

Really?

I'm 53 and I own 5 Glocks, love 'em all but they aren't the only gals at the dance. ;)

I'll take the tupperware challenge. On deck G34, VP9. 5 yards?

Glock is certainly the Band-Aid of the plastic strip world but no, as evidenced here already, we have a nice representation of plastic fantastic products available.

Welcome to the match. :)

Did not take it them to the range today but next time out I will shoot my PPQ. Sig SP2022 and Kahr CW9.

I've been using the paid version for about 4-5 months and love it. Its well worthy the money. Its only about $12 if I remember right...

I'll be submitting a target shot with my G 22 on Friday or Saturday. I'm having cataract surgery on my second (dominant) eye tomorrow, and I figger by Saturday or Sunday it will be recovered enough for this challenge...:D

Meanwhile, for the Glock haters, here's something just for y'all...a Glock 23 (the 40 cal compact) at 230 yards on a 12" steel plate.

Hate away, people. It goes BANG when you pull the trigger and its an accurate gun, despite what the haters say.

In the video above, Hicok45 was shooting a G23 @ 230 yards. When I posted that I didn't realize he had also done the same 230 yard shot (several actually) with a Glock 27, the subcompact 40 cal.

For the Glock haters, here's something to really hate:

Here are my entries. I shot a Glock 17, Glock 34, Glock 21SF and Glock 35 with 357 SIG and 40 S&W barrels in it. The big surprise was that the worst target was with the G34. I thought that would be the best. Best target were the G17 and G21. I thought they'd be the worst. Guess ya never know. Each target shows the gun, the load used, and group size. Groups are measured center to center.

I traded some email with the creator and have the paid running now too. Definitely works better than the free version.
