I'm a new member here and hope to participate some and learn.
I'm a retired federal LEO...worked in and around DC and now live in AZ and loving it.
To be honest...I'm much more into collecting Colt firearms but own a few S&W's as well as other makes...often times it's whatever hits me at the moment that strikes my interest.
The S&Ws I own at present are:
Model 19-4...the first handgun I ever purchased (back in the late 1970s)
Model 29-3 Lew Horton Special
Model 4046 (only because I was issued one...I consider it the "Boat Anchor Model"...never liked it.)
Model 41...the most accurate .22 I own.
Model 66 snubby...wanted a M19 snubby but the price of good ones is simply too high.
I've owned others...some I liked and some I didn't. For most of my law enforcement career I was issued a Model 64...super handgun. I was an instructor for the agency and when a shipment of new revolvers was received I test fired them and picked out this one for myself.
Don't know how often I'll be stopping by but I hope to as much as possible.
