In case you haven't been paying attention, things have been that way over there for decades. In fact one could make a sensible argument it has been going on for centuries.

I am fully aware of history in that area and Europe, Africa, the China sea, and others.

On #3, Israel is the single largest recipient of US foreign aid since 1948. We still pay Israel $700+ per year per person in aid.

I often wonder how many are aware of much of anything going on in the world.

Much if not all of it goes to purchasing high tech weapons from U.S. manufacturers, which gets battle tested against the newest weapons from Russia, China and Iran, and the results get shared back with the U.S. Military. All in all, I think a better deal than if the money went directly to simply propping up U.S. military suppliers. It's also good for U.S. workers.

There is no solution.

With Russia and Ukraine, each side has something they want - Russia wants to own Ukraine, Ukraine wants Russia out of their country. With China, they want Taiwan back and to seize the West Philippine Sea, especially around Fiery Cross Reef and Scarborough Shoals; both Taiwan and the Philippines want their sovereignty respected. All want a tangible 'something.'

But with Israel v everyone else in the Middle East, Israel wants more land and they want it Palestinian-free. Iran (and so many others there) want Israel destroyed. I sure don't see a way to fix that.
