The Israeli's don't do that. If they fire a "precision instrument" the target is toast. They try to avoid collateral damage. Joe

In case you haven't been paying attention, things have been that way over there for decades. In fact one could make a sensible argument it has been going on for centuries.
So much destruction, and so much bloodshed, in that entire region over the years...
Egypt and Jordan realized decades ago that it's best to live in peace with Israel, rather than pursue an endless, futile war. I wish the other nations there have the same epiphany...and soon.
I remember when Anwar Sadat made peace with Israel. He basically told the rest of the Arab nations to go pound sand. Reflecting back, I can remember thinking what a progressive move that was. He took a lot of heat for that, and eventually got assassinated for it

I think the real questions are
1) Why is this our problem to solve?
2) As world policeman, how many American boys are going to be causalities in this infinity war.
3) How much is this going to cost?
Israel is not a country to be messed with. Some other countries would do well to remember history before it repeats itself.
Most people I talk to are not aware of how much foreign aid Israel gets .On #3, Israel is the single largest recipient of US foreign aid since 1948. We still pay Israel $700+ per year per person in aid.
