Have used Schick Injector for 60 years.
Tried a few cartridge multi-blade.
Liked the Schick better.

Harry's ad make the product sound great.

If you are a Harry's user, how long have you been?
How many comfortable shaved with a cartridge?

I have used them for several years. I’m bald and shave every three days. The razors last a long time. I should probably change them more frequently than I do. I have them delivered quarterly.

I've used Harry's for about 15 years. Before that I used Gillette which I preferred to Schick. Harry's are better than Gillette and last longer. Good product.

I use Dollar Shave Club. Have used for several years. Very good. They also sell an after shave lotion that has SPF 30 that I use after shaving and on neck and ears. Keeps me some having to put sunscreen on my face. Check them out on line.

safety razor is the way to go. I got 100 Feather blades for $50. You can find a fairly inexpensive razor on Amazon or Ebay. I use 1 blade for 2-3 weeks. I notice that it gets dull but since I shave in the shower I can do a second shave and get just as close.

I kinda think you have to standardize the cost, so you can compare,,

Possibly dollars per month,, (like miles per gallon)

For me, I used to use Schick,, then, one time Sam's Club had Gillette on sale.

Currently, I use a Gillette 5 blade,, they are expensive,, BUT,,,
for me, they last,, and last.

I dated the package of cartridges when I started using them,
The first cartridge lasted 4 months
I am 3 months into the second cartridge. It is still great.

I used to get one month out of the Schick 3 blades.
If I use my wifes disposables,, I get one shave,, that is it.

So, my cost/ per month for the 5 blade Gillette,,,
$2 per blade, 4 months, My cost is $0.50 per month.

The BIG plus,, ??
For the entire 4 months, minus the last shave or two,,
there is ZERO pull or tug or nick.
I have never, in 60 years of shaving, had a closer shave.

This is the only razor that truly results in "baby smooth" face skin.

Harry's has a bouncy center, meaning it will mold to face shape more easily. DSC has a more solid blade. In my household, myself and oldest prefer DSC, middle son prefers Harrys and the youngest just thinks he needs to shave so his preference is marked as pending.

Double Edge Only

Not a user of Harry’s Razors, nope, no
way, and expensive. I used cartridge blades
for years, wish I would have known better.

About 5 years ago I came across a 1941
Gillette “Super Speed” TTO (Turn to Open)
double edge safety razor.

My whole shaving routine changed forever
and for the better. Using a double edge
blade is inexpensive (6¢/blade?), lasts
maybe 2 weeks or until I think I want a new
blade, and so sharp and best shave ever.

So there is no way I would ever recommend
that Harry’s scam.

The Best to you and your Endeavors.

Gillette 1941 on the top left and Gillette “Good Will”
top right.

I still use a straight razor on the sides and neck and a Bic under my nose etc. Yhe razor I use is one I got from a closed barber shop in 1959. It dates from the 1910s era but I do have others

I bought a straight razor years ago. I was going to go really old school.
I did my cheeks but when I got to the neck/carotid area my butt puckered and I went back to my safety razor.

I’ve been loyal to Schick for years. I get two months out of a cartridge, shaving 5-6 times a week. No reason to look elsewhere.
