Is it just a female thing to never tighten or seal the lid on anything? Do men do that too? Also I counted 21 bottles of "stuff" in the shower. Most with the lid ajar. How many in your shower ?

Interesting question. I have to ask though, of the 21 items in the shower, other than the soap and shampoo, did you have any idea what it was, or what it is to be used for? I have been married for almost 23 years. I look at my Wife's stuff and have NO IDEA what most of it is for.........Don't really care either.:D

same in west tenn. i went and counted 12, all with lids open. some day when i take all my meds and am feeling froggy, i'll ask her to tell me what they all are. they also don't understand how to get the air of of zip lock bags before they seal them. this could go on and on. lee

I remember when my daughter was little and she would use our shower on occasion, not only would there be the usuall 6 or 7 bottles of stuff but also 3 or 4 Barbie dolls. There is something a little weird about showering with Barbie dolls staring at you.

whats worse.... if you added up the price of those 21 bottles, you'd be halfway to a case of ammo. LOL

What's so weird about showering with Barbie Dolls?

Our daughter was young once too.......;)

Yeah my wife has the same affliction for that stuff as well.
There's about 6 or 8 different bottles of stuff inside the shower
stall and the bathroom sink top has another 20-25 bottles/tubes
of different lotions and whatnot. I have no idea what it is and do
not ask her about it either. I know what the reaction would be if
i was to question her spending so much on this stuff. So i'll just
leave it alone. She lets me buy whatever guns i want so i'm not
gonna start no trouble. haha

YUP! Sounds just like my wife's habits. Constantly leaving jars, boxes, drawers and closets opened. The cabinet under my sink in our B/R could second as a Super Market grooming products section. I finally blew my stack about a year ago screaming that the shampoos, conditioners, lotions and potions have more room in the shower than I do! That improved things a bit, but I'll never see 100% of the bottom of the shower..........

Now what I do is every week or so I'll go to the rear of the cabinet under the sink and toss the older bottles; she hasn't missed one yet!

Men, you got to face it. You will never understand women. Their logic eludes us. Their mind changes by the hour. They buy things that look like they might need it but never use it.

Have you all looked under the kitchen sink?
I bet there are at least 20 bottles with spay nozzles???????????

I must be really really really blessed.........soap, shampoo, conditioner, that's it.........and she puts a 100 rds down range every week with me too :):)

I thought that it was just my wife who is psychologically unable to put a lid or top on any bottle or jar.

It's a pet peeve of mine and has been a mystery for years.

Just last week we returned from a trip and I found that she had borrowed my toothpaste and returned it to my travel bag with the cap just "sitting" on the top. A little pressure on the bag and y'all know the rest of the story.

This is the same woman who is incredibly meticulous with her home decorating. Move a candle stick 0.001 inch from it's designated position on a table and she knows... and goes nuts until it "properly" positioned again.

She'll ask, "Didn't you notice that the candle was 'wrong'?"

I'll answer.... "No Dear, I hadn't noticed that you had a candle there? Is it new?"

Good Morning, Guys:
DO NOT GO THERE!!
You do not want to know what is in those bottles or what they are used for!
Life is complicated enough without adding to it.
By asking this question to your wife you are opening the door to her asking where all these guns came from, what did they cost, and how long you have owned them or why you won't put the toilet seat down.
Now! go reload or clean a weapon.

I am glad you posted this. Up until know I couldn't understand why she took 30 minute showers (then complained about not having enough hot water). I guess she is in there using all 36 of whatever is in those bottles.

Wanna talk about how much TP they use?

Why is it that a woman uses 15 things to take a bath while a man takes a shower and only needs a bar of soap and occasionally a wash cloth?

She has four, shampoo, conditioner, razor and soap. She has been up as high as six items in the last 35 years but now down to four. I don't whine either.
