Why not just send it to S&W for free and have them fix it under warranty?

a collection of all known part #s and pics in a sticky would be awesome. seems like having that info alone is the difference between simply getting a part, or having to send it in and wait.
i know from experience some stuff they will just send you if you ask, and are very specific.
Ok got my parts in. but first i did email S&W first to see if they were selling parts and a few days after ordering my parts i got a reply back to that email i sent, Jon Young replied back to me and said Those parts are factory installed only, so I can't send them out. They are however covered by warranty. If you provide your address and the serial number of the gun, I can send you a prepaid shipping label to get the gun in here for repair. end.

S&W do not sell parts.
Numrich gun spares have some parts available.
