I'm overwhelmed by the outpouring of understanding and comforting words from my fellow veterans and grateful citizens. You guys and gals are my extended family.

Handejector: "Little rooms in my mind that I try to stay out of." A comment that is nothing short of brilliant.

Sorry imlate to the game but, i too wish to give you my sincere thanks for serving and sacrificing. I wasnt old enough to understand the war but, I remember hearing about it every evening for quite awhile. My dad--being an Army Aircorps/USAF vet of WWII korea--used to drive 50 miles from Kingsville to Corpus Christi Intl Airport--and greet the vets as they stepped off their plane. Often my dad would take 1-2 of them out for dinner as his way of saying thanks.
