Yea it pretty much beats out my AR cause of ammo cost... but yea it sure is a fun little rifle to shoot and gets alot of attention at the range or around friends...

Most used during these past 6 months, absolutely. Because of all the reasons you mentioned. It has been a real performer for what it is. (and it's fun without killing the bank account!!! )

No. I like my Ruger 10/22 with Volquartzen barrel better overall. It may be older style but there is no end to accessories.

I don't know about favorite, but it's the one I shoot the most. 
I'm really partial to my match-accurized Ruger 77/22 with a 6-24x40 AO scope; sub-MOA with Eley or Lapua match ammo.

No. My favorite is my M&P-15 OR but, the 15-22 is the most fun gun I own ; )

NO! My favorite is my Remington 40-X, in 22LR. Then my CZ American Tribal, then my 15-22 MOE. I have some others, but these 3 are it. each has job that the others just can not keep up with.

My favorite rifle is my beloved Remington 03-A3 that I bought from my identical-twin brother. It is breathtakingly accurate beyond all belief.
My next most favorite rifle is a Remington 03-A4 replica that my wife gave me this past Christmas. I fully expect that as my vision changes, I will be shooting this particular rifle much more... and sadly shooting my other iron sighted military rifle much less.
But, when it comes to .22 LR rifles... I must say that I really am thrilled with the 15-22! I haven't fired mine very much... only 500 rounds. But, I converted five Pro-Mag 10rd. magazines to hold 32 rounds. And, given my love of simply walking in the woods and shooting at targets of opportunity, I think the 15-22 is going to be my close companion both in the hot summer and the more pleasant fall and winter months.

no my two 10/22s hold that position but it definately comes in 3rd

Oh yea the good old days... sure do miss them sometimes...
Right now, yep, it's my favorite. I was at the range this evening, and did rapid fire and double taps at 50 yards. I'm just amazed at seeing the center 3" of the target almost obliterated after three magazine dumps.
However, if I want to shoot dime size groups, I have to turn to my Marlin 783. My pride and joy is my Winchester 9422M, but it is, and will remain, an open sight rifle, and my old eyes can't shoot it like I used to. So, for now, it's the 15-22!

It's my favorite in the AR platform as far as cheap and fun plinking around. However, accuracy goes to my old Winchester model 190. My 15-22 couldnt hold a flame to my model 190 when it comes to key holes with a .22LR.

I have three .22 rifles and each is my Favorite for different reasons. The 15-22 is bags of fun to shoot and holding it reminds me of the M16A1 that I carried in Vietnam. I didn't get a "full-caliber" AR because I'm not planning on going to war again and I don't hunt anymore either. The cost of feeding a 5.56 is usually considerable also. But the 15-22 is a hoot and when I'm holding it it sure is my Favorite Rifle.
But I also have a Henry Golden Boy and that butter-smooth lever action is a joy to work! My creaky eyes still appreciate the vision of a polished brass bead between the ears of the buckhorn sight and the gleam of all that shiny metalwork and walnut is always a wonderful thing. That it shoots so well through that heavy, octagonal barrel also brings a smile to my face. The Henry is a beautiful thing to see and shoot and when I'm holding it it certainly is my Favorite Rifle!
Then there is this old, beat-up Springfield 87-A semi-auto there in the safe. It's stock is worn and scratched and needs a lot of attention and someone (my Sister!) took 400-grade steel wool to the metalwork years ago "to make it shiny" and removed what blue was left on it. The butt-plate and trigger guard broke a while back in a closet (stuff falls over) but Numrich made sure I have the parts to fix that after the stock gets done. It really doesn't sound like much but it was with this old Springfield back in 1952 that my Grandfather began to teach me about shooting and marksmanship. It was his farm-gun, saved for foxes and coyotes and the occasional snake. He showed me how to stalk a rabbit and where to put the sight on a groundhog for a quick kill. He let me use it to become a sniper of varmints on our little patch of Missouri and now I need to get it fixed up so my grandkids can also shoot and learn from it. When I look at that old rifle and remember the man who owned it and taught me with it, it certainly is my Favorite Rifle!

My Saiga in 7.62x39mm is my favorite rifle. The 15-22 is the one I shoot because of monetary constraints.
