Is the M&P 40c still scarce? Seems like my LGS is having trouble finding one.

I know of at least two in stock (separate stores) within 3 miles of my house. It used to be 3, but I picked one up yesterday from Bass Pro (last one they had).

Not necessarily. Of the two others that I know of, one of the stores may have more than one, and I also only checked those three places only because they were closest to me and I didn't need to check around any further. I can't say for sure, but 3 out of 3 doesn't seem scarce to me.

My nearest LGS has at least two of these...I was just there during lunch time.

LOL! you would think with my close distance to the S&W plant I could find one in CT. Ok, np I will look at online dealers.
Talking to some LGS you would think it was a unicorn

Find a new LGS, every time I go to mine, every model is in stock, including the Shield.... Did I mention I shot my 40 shield this weekend and had an epiphany? That little gun is freaking amazing!

Yep! All set! Going with my brother Friday to our gun club to give it a go. He is away on a business trip and wanted me to wait so he can come along.
However I have a HUGE problem with....it. The GF finally found a gun she likes

I just bot one fri. it seems i can only find the one with no safety and a mag disc. , It shoots great ,may have to do apex trigger job it has 10 lb. trigger hard to get use to.did apex on my shield and love it!
