Is the search function working?

I was trying to get some info on the value and history of a 745.
The search came up as nothing found.

That is hard to believe that there has been no discussion on 745's.

I had similar problem trying to find 629 listed in classified. I PM'ed thirkol about it.

I read in some thread that the search engine doesn't recognize "words" less than 4 characters. I was trying to search for Model 25 and it ignored the 25 part...

I might be right but I could be wrong on this....

I just searched for one of my threads and it came up. The thing I don't like and don't understand is the forum will only let you do one search every 30 seconds. Not a problem if you find what you are looking for on the first try, but if not you have to stare at the screen for 30 seconds to try again.

Yea, I have tried searches for .44 specials, model 29s, 21s, 629s... and since a large part of my searches are for words/phrases inder 4 letters... the search function is now essentially useless.
