IS the Viridian X5L too big

I am looking at adding a X5L to my M&P 45 mid size , but I don't know if the X5L is too big for the mid size 45 . I know the C5L is for the compacts and sub compacts , but the mid size has a 4" barrel .

Does anyone on here have the answer ?

Here's mine on the full size if that helps. Comes just to the end of the slide perfectly.

Thank you very much for your reply , and help . The barrel on the full size is a half inch longer , so it looks like the X5L will extend that much past the muzzle on the mid size . Would the muzzle flash from the midsize damage the unit ? I see some Tactical lights extend past the muzzle on a lot of carry guns .

Your welcome. I've shot a few hundred rounds with the light on and haven't really had to clean it. The only thing that would stick out is the outside of the lense that screws on the front, so nothing really to damage. I think you'll be fine. It's been a great light. Nice and bright and all the features you want without the high price like a stream light.
