I don't live in the mountains.......BUT. My Mtn Guns have worked fine the low country of SC.I thought the purpose of a mountain gun was to defend yourself from Grizz or wild boars or something?
Well your wish came truejust announced today.
That's true but the announcement means eventually you should be able to get them. For OP I think that's a win.If they’re like the earlier announced versions they are vaporware. You cannot get them. Until I see one I can actual buy at or below MSRP I think it’s S&W / Lipsey playing games.
That’s in [can’t use his despised name here] Dollars, not like it’s real money.$1,200... too much
Maybe try a different dealer. Mine seems to have a constructive relationship with Lipsey's. I order and received both the 629 & 686. Paid MSRP -50.00 for both.If they’re like the earlier announced versions they are vaporware. You cannot get them. Until I see one I can actual buy at or below MSRP I think it’s S&W / Lipsey playing games.
You're missing the fact that S&W quality ain't great these days, and you could end up with a $1200 paperweight that needs trips back to the mother-ship for repairs/missed quality items.Love the 617 mtn concept. It's a 10 shot m-18 in stainless steel with great sights and a better grip. What's not to want. Or am I missig something?
