hi guys , basically I need a currently working for a insurance company insurance investagator , I need the last registerd owner of a vintage car I bought in the 1980's before I got hurt , I have been told insurance companies keep the records longer than NJ motor vechiles does . robbt

Depends on the vintage car, there are registries out there on some of them. You might do better to go to a user group for that model and post there. I'm sure they can tell you how to get it if there is one available. Over 30 years ago I would doubt that any insurance co would keep it unless they had a ongoing case. But then again I could be wrong. This would be before computer's keeping the data so they would have had to keep a paper file which most don't have anymore taking up too much storage space. Just a thought.
