Is there anything special about a 2" model 15?

I picked up this VERY nice Md15-2 about 6 months ago on GB for $404, Diamond grips and all. It is just what I was looking for. Lousy picture. It is almost perfect in the flesh.

I picked up a 15-2 with box, cleaning kit and papers, FOR $250 last month. It belonged to a detective who retired. Faint turn line on cyl. most of the blue is worn off on the right side of frame so it almost looks like a pinto. Looks like he drew it alot and didn't need to fire it. It has alot of character, shoots awesome and it is my favorite over my other S&W's and Kimbers. I was REALLY LUCKY!!!!
If only that little 15-2 could talk......

Just an update - Dealer talked to the owner and the price was firm. Thanked the owner (great guy)and passed on the gun. Thanks guys for all the input and photos.
