Defund Governors and Mayors
In my neck of the woods, vandals have spray-painted today's fashionable slogan on public buildings. But the news is reporting that the police are looking for the people who "defaced" the graffiti...

The thing to do is "Vote"! So many of the 40YO-60YO age bracket doesn't vote, at least in my area. If the spoiled brats vote, and they are allowed to throw tantrums and pass us the bill, they obviously will. Politicians are soul-less, vote ghouls lacking morality. They will back votes, even those that will burn and loot the property of hard working people. The next thing we "NEED to DO", is amplify our voice with a strong conservative lobby organization. My lobby of choice is the NRA. They have been the most effective in passing meaningful legislation that I agree with. By the way, I have found that most "Pro-2nd" "NRA-Supported" political folks are pretty grass roots conservative all the way around. At least around my hollow. Personally, I'll be voting strait off the NRA "A list" this time..........But the news is reporting that the police are looking for the people who "defaced" the graffiti........

There will eventually be an end to it, but I don't think it will be a peaceful one.

I agree that if you don't have the government you want then VOTE! But if you also choose to de-fund things like education, healthcare, poverty prevention and other foundational blocks and societal safety nets then please don't be surprised when the masses don't vote your way.
I am also a big believer in personal responsibility, but for too long many parents have been AWOL and we have been relying too heavily on our basic institutions to fill the void. If somebody misbehaves there is no way I can justify blaming the cops or the teachers like has been done far too often in our modern history. The problem is now all those jubilant delinquents are now adults, and nobody has a reasonable solution to fix the problems that we all share blame for allowing to happen in the first place. If your house burns down because you refused to fund the fire department, it's not the firefighters' fault...

A near critical mass percentage of our population is easily manipulatable. It's disappointing to look at them and know they've essentially been programmed, via feeding them selective information, to believe and think what certain leaders want them to think and believe. Interestingly, everything that's happening is to U.S.'s adversaries advantages. Makes you stop and wonder ...

The old adage about a pendulum constantly swinging between extremes is a good analogy of current events.
Individuals or groups may reach (or be coached toward) a point at which certain conditions are considered intolerable and respond with protests, destruction of property, or violence. These acts may push others to a point at which there remains no tolerance, and reciprocal actions may occur (with or without governmental involvement).
When will it stop? For the present there can be no real prediction. There are elements within our society that do not want it to stop, hoping that the results will be improvements in their own positions (power, influence, wealth, etc). I expect very little reduction in the negative displays until sometime after the second Tuesday in November.
