There is, Taylor Freelance makes various baseplates that increase the capacity. Originally they were made for competition on full size pistols but since they only replace the baseplates, and full size and compact mags have the same configuration, there's no reason that they can't be used on compacts (except it makes them harder to conceal). Sorry, I was trying to be speific but didn't make my point well enough. Yes, there are a few different mag extendors available like the one you posted as well as this one: Smith & Wesson M&P Base Pad and Insert from Arredondo Accessories
And there are a few more still but I forget the name brands.
My point was why I mentioned Pearce was that they as a company usually have a plus one or two extension that does little to add any real bulk to the gun. Usually it swaps out a pinky extension and gives the spring more room for that extra shot. I would think someone would swap out the pinky extension base for one that could hold that one extra shot or two without getting too much bigger.
