Is this Blasphemy on my M&P 15/22????? (Pictures)

Ok I got tired of my 15/22 looking like everyone elses at the range and the peep sights on the upper reciever.
So while I was out the other day I saw this Colt 22 carry handle
and decided to try it out. I had to adjust the sights a good bit to get it to hit dead center, however shes dead on now. So what do you think??
Looks good??? Or by what I did by putting a Colt part on a S&W 15/22 make me commit the ultimate sin????

Yes I did, and I had to adjut the front post sight all the way down, and the rear sight about 3/4 way to the left.
It hits dead center now.

That's good. I've been thinking about the handle as well. Hate to remove the rear mag though.

I've read that the "Umarex" (Colt) handle is for the Colt .22 only. Apparently there wasn't any issues. Was the fitment ok? I love the way they look with a handle. I think I'm gonna go with the UTG handle and the knock off Colt carry handle scope. May put a Magpul front MBUS on the front since you can still see through the carry handle scope mount.

Anybody have this setup?

I like it! I use optics on my rifles so it wouldn't be my first choice but I like the way it looks. I'd convert the hand guard and front sight to an A2 and make a cool M4 clone. I've seen it before and it looks sweet.

If you want to keep that M&P-15, you might want to think about that....

What about parallax caused by the increased angle of the sight-to bore plane? Does the increased height of the rear sight create a bothersome amount of parallax?

Its your gun if you wanna spray paint it bright pink and put hello kitty stickers all over it. I dont think anyone has the right to tell you no.

I will say I like the colt carrying handle on it looks really nice. I think AR style rifles are like 1911's its ok to use different brands.
