As much as I like the new 2.0 Metal, I've been waiting to see if S&W introduces any other models in metal.
I don't know if it's been posted before, but I think I may have found my answer. It's in the the owner's manual of the 2.0 Metal right on the front cover.
It's the Performance Center M&P 9 M2.0 Competitor.
Additional features include longer barrel and slide, fiber optic front sight, mag well, plus probably other Performance Center upgrades. It's a real looker!
It makes sense that M&P was going to come out with other models of the 2.0 Metal frame, and with the picture of the new Competitor, it would make perfect sense for this to be the next one.
