How many of you have spent the day on the couch, with the clicker in hand, watching the best thing on TV.......College Football? Who do you pull for and how will they do this year?

I have not watched College football, or for that fact, ANY sports for about 16 years. Today was spent mostly with the wife shopping (her stores), now a little computer time before supper.

Not me. I spent the day on the range getting a little practice in and doing a bit of Ransom Rest ammo testing. More of the same on tap for tomorrow. Gotta get ready for the last matches of the year.

It was a tepid 112 degrees when I left the range an hour or so ago, but only mid 60's when I arrived at 0730. I even broke down and turned the A/C on, well, actually called the kids and had them close the windows and flick on the A/C. Gonna be a tad warm tonight I think.

I spent the day watching football and in between games playing football with my son and his friend. My team is the Georgia Bulldawgs!!!! It looks like their going to do well this year and by seeing what I saw on the Florid game I wished we'd played them today. I'm also a Kentucky Wildcat fan 2nd since I now live in Kentucky and they looked pretty good the first half but faltered a bit in the second. Now I'm watching racing.:D What a tough day.

I just saw where you were from I guess we'll be playing each other next week & it should be a good one with Georgia winning by 40.:D

Go Beavers

My dear OSU Beavers have a brutal early schedule. We always say, "Bring on the big boys." Let's hope we didn't chew off more tree bark than we could chew. Texas Tech #6 today, Boise St. in two weeks. Go Beav's.

It's the most wonderful time of the year! I can watch football, baseball and NASCAR all in the same day :D

Go Gators!

The only good thing about the start of football is that it's only six months until it's over. Then we can hear about something for at least a week besides the BSU Broncos.

When I was in college I didn't even know we had a football team, there were plenty of other things to entertain yourself with.

Watched the Bama game and caught the last of the Auburn game, nothing exciting... except the 6 hours I did previous enjoying the outdoors and the first day of dove season! I shot like crap but better outside than in! Cheers! ~Chef

Bad guess, rchance. Clemson Tigers fan here. And, as such, I hope you guys do beat the chickens by 40.

I find this hard to believe. Tomorrow (Labor Day) my #10 Virginia Tech Hokies play your #3 Boise State. The results just may shock BS fans, but apparently you don't care. (Actually, I went to Purdue, but since I now live in SW Virginia...)

My division I alma mater got thumped by a division II cream puff.

Wasn't supposed to turn out that way.

But, this is good. It will drive down ticket prices.

Gonna be a lonnnnnggggggggg season for LSU-we just might beat Vanderbuilt this weekend but I'm not laying any points :(
Auburn looked pretty good though. Looks like Auburn/Alabama in the West-didn't catch much East other than Florida which looked pretty bad.

Dove season opened this weekend. Got three in my back yard during Halftime with the air rifle :D

WAR EAGLE!!!!

Not sure why folks that don't like football have to chime in here.

Caj,
LSU fans had enough of Les Miles yet? His "magic" hasn't quite run out, yet, apparently. Squeaked that one out against the 2nd and 3rd string UNC team. I sure hope he runs out of his "fairy dust" before Auburn plays them. I've had enough! :D

Auburn's D REALLY needs to improve, and FAST. Playing Miss. State Thursday night....

Spent the day out in the bay, on a boat, teaching a granddaughter to fish. Probably time better spent.

The GA DAWGS looked good. Next week should be a really good game. I love college football, have not watched a pro game in years.

Dang I love College Football. Besides international soccer (yes it is a real sport my fellow americans) it is the only sport I watch anymore. I can't stand most professional sports as it all seems rigged.

Now don't hate me but I root for USC trojans, the players not the coaches or athletic director.

And I am a U of U alumni. The REAL "U". And Pitt goes down again.

I'm not sure who I will root for next year when they play each other.

Dawg fan here, I bleed red and black.I hope that I can see the games this year without wearing a bag on my head.We need to win the next two games bad.

Arkansas Razorbacks. Going to visit the Georgia Bulldogs soon...should be a great game.

I don't watch college football on TV, but once a year I go to my college to see who is wearing my number. It brings back good memories.

You should live in Nebraska and have to put up with the stupid Cornhusker fans. If that doesn't make you hate football you haven't been paying attention. The only thing for me to look forward to now is Thanksgiving when Colorado gives these idiots their usual much deserved whipping. I think this whole state is insane. Wish they would go back to their original name. "Bugeaters" was more appropriate.
