It seems that the richer you are...

Maybe Gates should be investing his money into inventing some sort of synthetic grass that won't cause cows to burp or fart and still taste good.:)

Gates has four jets worth an estimated $400 million. None of them run on pixie dust or sunshine.

Here's one of them...

And to think I have been happy in the past when Southwest flight attendants have given me an extra package of peanuts!

There are already CRISPR technology responses in field trials and in line for regulatory approval. Most of them are plant-based solutions to breed fodder (plant-based animal food) that releases less methane upon digestion. Hard to absolutely eliminate methane from plant digestion processes but it can, apparently, be reduced significantly from cow belch emission.

Gates invested in Rumin8, an Australian climate technology company exploring dietary supplements for cows that will similarly stop them from farting. Gates is also the leader of an investment fund behind ArkeaBio, a Boston pharmaceutical company that is seeking to develop a livestock vaccine that will help reduce global vaccine emissions.
:D Wouldn't it be easier and cheaper to put Bean-O in the cattle feed?

We closed factories and people lost jobs from trying to govern clean air.
The parts were cheaper in certain countries from lack of clean air goals.
It helped to change at least two countries' well-being, but had me wonder how much regulating part of the earth while others exploit it will matter in the end.

Making the earth better would include making the people better; not making things easier so they can sit at home, and depend on computers
and calculators. Looking at the costs of foods nowadays, please don't make a nice steak cost more.

The cynicism and class warfare on display lately in the Forum are truly breathtaking...

Aww... Don't matter much, really, Beemerguy. We're just a little nook of the internet here.

Nothing we can solve, so my view is no point trying.

Some folks are just into all that conspiracy BS. I think it is due to their circumscribed choice of media reading/watching material.

But they're passionate about it.

My view is just let 'em be.

Just makes everyone unhappy if we get into trying to correct one another's understanding.:)

Wait; so I don't need to believe the "elites" want to control existence, force me to drive enclosed golf carts and give up personal liberty because they have it all under control. Phew, that's a load lifted:)

PS, my paranoia doesn't negate those actually out to get me. Joe
