Some more pix of me with guns. I guess I come by my interest in guns from an early age: that's me holding an ancient rolling block about 1939; I was 6.

Okay, here's one more. I took this about a year ago at Valley of Fire State Park, which is about an hour north of Las Vegas.

I took this photo for my mom. She knows we visit Vegas pretty regularly. Sometimes, one will picture all kinds of debauchery when they think about Vegas, and I had a feeling my mom probably does, too. So I took this for her, to show her exactly why I go there!

The pics:

1. Glad I got a pic of this! It ain't ever gonna happen again. Firing my friends Thompson Contender chambered in .45/70 That, as my old grandma used to say is just too much sugar for a dime.

2. A graphic demonstration of how BIG a round that is. Compare that beast to the standard 230 gr. .45 auto. Yep, it's bad....

3. Bluebonnet run in the spring of 1993.

4. My personal best Red Snapper. I don't really remember how long it was or how much it weighed but I DO remember how good it tasted.

5. Me and Miss Pam on the Jersey Shore in March of 2005. Yes, it was COLD.
