seems like all the back orders are showing up at once.

I was in a gun store a few ours ago and the shelves were full of whatever primer you wanted.

Just over $30 per box in my area of NC. Still a few dollars higher than mid-2008 but I'll take it. All sizes, both standard and magnum, are available here.

Wish I could get in on the precipitation. Nothing locally and one of the big houses, Powder Valley is out of stock on almost everything.

I have a couple thousand on back order from Cabela's supposedly for delivery Jan 30 but they've been on order for two months. Don

Both Sportsmens Whse's here in southern Idaho hardly have any...I am pretty well stocked though.:)

I was at the Topeka Gun Show on Saturday and Wolf LP were $34.50 per K,
CCI DP&LP were from $36-39 and Federal LP were $39. I passed on them.

Things are still tight in NE PA but there are a few primers on the local store's shelves. When I say a few I mean a few. My local dealer got only 5000 LPP, SPP, LRP and SRP in last week and not all the same brand. SPP were Federal, LRP were Remington and the other 2 types were CCI. I don't need to tell you they didn't last 2 days before the shelf was empty again and that was with a 1000 per type limit. 20,000 primers when you can buy 4000 at a time don't last long at all!!

It may be raining primers elsewhere, but notg in El Paso. Only one store has them; all they have is Wolf, and not many of those. I've been able to keep going with what I have plus a few purchases; I haven't had to dip into my SHTF primers.

I may have had a "smart day" a couple of years ago. Had the opportunity to purchase a quantity of Winchester and Federal primers, along with some common pistol powders. When stuff dried up I was able to supply friends with components with the understanding they replace them when they become available, wouldn't sell to them. In just the last couple of weeks, many have gone out of their way to return the now available components, along with a handshake, a thank you, and a smile.

This past Saturday I picked up about just over 6,000 primers. Mostly Winchester with a few CCI for $20 per thousand.
Yes I got lucky, a friend and a buddy of his picked them up along with bullets and other components from an estate sale.
