Exactly the SAME here. Oh we MIGHT have a ''cold front'' or two by then but, nothing like what them Yankees will get.

I need the relief from having to almost constantly run both window units. My energy bill is about 15% higher this year than the last.

You are correct, autumn begins when the sun sets right in the middle of a west bound road, which is how I know its my birthday................never thought I get this far I'll be four years older than my father ever was and still not half as smart.

We're in the middle of a heat wave here. 93 today and 95 tomorrow. I've been ready for Fall since Fall ended last year. I hate the heat, humidity, and summer. From what I have read online, it won't feel like Fall around me until late September or early October. I really want this month to go by quickly.

Its extra hard in these states like Ohio where we don't have spring and fall. We go from "don't go outside or your skin will freeze and you'll die" to "don't go outside or your skin will boil and you will die". Kids have been stir crazy being stuck inside the house for so long.
The weather forecast is stuck on, "Nightly low is 72°, daytime high will be 92° to 97° with scattered clouds." This is what we've heard since mid-April and will last until mid-September.
Only three days over 100° and no days below 89°. Humidity is stationary at the "Misery" mark.

DAUMM, and I'm flyin into Philly tomorrow. It was bout 86 yesterday. 60 as I type. Ain't used to the humidity anymore. Gonna be a high of 88 today..high of 65 Sunday. Leaves are startin to turning yeller round the house. Heck we don't even have A/C in the house and don't really need it! Time fer elk season soon.

Our deer season opened yesterday and it's the first open that I've missed in almost 40 years. Having major back surgery Friday morning. Not looking forward to it at all. Will miss the best part of dove season too. It's going to be 95 degrees here today,so I'll just tell myself it's too hot to hunt anyhow. Doubt that will be sufficient though.
