It's snake season!

The snakes are out and a couple of them followed me home...a pair of diamondbacks. Both are .38 sp. The 4" was made in 1981 and the scarcer 2 1/2" is a first year pistol from 1966. I needed them like I need another hole in the head, but we all know how that story ends...it ends with the pistols coming home with me!



The cylinder on this 4" is original blue, the light/reflection makes it look copper colored like a reblue-it is not.

I usually prefer the shorter barreled guns, if my safe is anything to go by, but that 4-inch gun looks « just right. »

Yeah, AJ, the abundance of python skins has changed the boot industry in the US. The diamond rattlesnake boots in my post are now special order for a cool grand and a wait time. Pythons are readily available for a fraction of that.
It's just me I know, but the python boots remind me of a south american drug dealer from the '80s.
Probably from a movie I watched!
