It's Snowing Here In Nashville Tennessee, Our First Snowfall Of 2017

We're getting a pretty good little snowfall here in Middle Tennessee today. Our first snow of 2017. It's snowing! It's snowing! Yeah, We're happy!!

We got snow on Wednesday. No snow now but it's 10 below.

We have 1" - 2" of snow, and it was -2 this morning with wind chill at -14. I plan to stay home today.

I got about 3" by 8 AM today, and temp. is up to 28 now, wind chill is 11 degrees. Ain't nobody 'round here used to this.

At one point this morning, it was reported there were 116 car accidents. More than there were police to respond to them.

Snow in Nashville is quite an interesting experience. It doesn't even take a measurable amount to make it memorable.

Had sleet this morning, maybe more snow/freezing rain, wind chill is 20°... Nothing to you folks up north, but Louisiana pretty much shuts down when we get any winter weather.

I made a big pot of chili, have plenty of beer. 3 day weekend now! Did have to cancel my trip down south to shoot this weekend...

Final report was over 500 auto accidents reported in Nashville on Friday. Less than 1 inch of snow.
