It is spring and the fly by night boys are showing up. Had two today. One wanted to resurface my parking lot and the other wanted to trim my trees in back. Both just happen to be doing work in the area and could give me a good deal. Had a guy wanting to spray clean the house last week. Wonder who will be next?

We're getting a lot of calls for window and door replacement probably because of how old the neighborhood is.

Companies try to keep their employees busy no matter what time of year. It's not uncommon to see homes being painted in January.

Every Spring we're covered up with groups of traveling Gypsies that do roofing. There's lots of work due to the numerous hail storms we get, and I get visits every year, even with a new roof, they say they see damage from the road. They seldom finish a job.

I got all new windows & doors a couple months back. Within a week my email got bombed with window companies. I haven't noticed them lately, but if I looked at my email once in a while they may still be there. I think it snowed twice this year that involved a snow shovel. I'll put the shovels away in June.
