Ivory, mammoth and elephant

Some natural things make gorgeous additions to our favorite tools. I'm going to drop in some knives:

Muela Orix Muela - stag, I think

Ulu - antique mammoth in a not-so-antique antler base

Puma Prince - stag I think

Hammer brand - vintage thing - mother of pearl

Two Gerber Silver Knights - one mother of pearl, one either stag or jigged bone

Western brand? - antique pocket knife - mother of pearl

RR Horseshoe - Mastodon, I think, not mammoth

Thanks everyone for sharing some beautiful handguns and knives.

Not ivory, but here are a few knives with what I think are great looking scales.

Left two, elk antler.

Second from left, bottom row, rams horn.

Right three, stag.

A few states ban the sale/trade of Mammoth Ivory in the same way they do Elephant and other species ivory.
You can probably guess which ones they are.

The usual excuse for including the 10k yr old stuff in the regulations is that someone might slip some recently poached Jumbo ivory into the mix.

Too bad we just don't seem to be able to get a handle on the crazy popular illegal Ivory trade like we've crushed the illegal drug, smuggling rings & violent gangs.

There must be a way..
Perhaps we could pass a Law!

Here's a couple of Cody Wescott Folders.
I don't have a Mammoth Handled Knife,
But I would like to!
