Looking for recommendations. In the past I used a Don Hume H715 SOOT for J frames but doesn't look like it's offered for the K even though it's on their site. Don't want a clip, loops are what I like. Thanks for any suggestions.

I have and agree with the positive evaluations of the Bianchi. Another option the Galco model WB 112B, which, while certainly not as well made as the Bianchi (the Galco is only $50), allows the gun to ride lower. This makes the draw easier as I get older and my shoulders less flexible.

Well, at the risk of being flamed for this, I always liked the inexpensive, soft suede IWB holsters with the blued metal clip. They are by far the most comfortable for me (super thin) and take up the least amount of space inside your waistband. The gun stays put without the use of any straps, snaps, velcro, screws, etc. and can be carried all day long in complete comfort.

True - you can not re-holster one handed, however I don't really think that is important. Once you pull Roscoe, everyone sees it anyway. Either use two hands to re-holster or just stick it in your waistband until such time you can use both hands. I own several for a J, K frame as well as 1 for a Sig P365.

I use Barami Hip Grips too.
You can still find K frame grips in both round and square butt.

The suede soft holsters are so versatile. Over the years I've accumulated quite a few and use them for both revolvers and semiautomatics.

FWIW....I hate the metal clips. They end up cutting into my leather belts.

That Bianchi (in the pic above) is absolutely the most comfortable revolver IWB that I've ever tried. It has just the right height (for my build and body) and angle.

I NEVER put the metal clip over a belt - your right it would cut the heck out of them! I put the clip on my pants and then the belt over it. The belt also hides the clip.

I'm also interested in a IWB Holster a 2 1/2 inch model 66. Wondering if anyone has any other recommendations before I go with the Bianchi?
Thanks

I've always liked the holsters from Milt Sparks, I've been lucky to find used models for my 1911s as I'm not the patient type to wait 40 weeks LOL.

Still open to suggestions, thanks
