I have an M&P 45 2.0 full size.

I had the trigger changed out for an Apex Flat trigger because I did not like the extreme (to me ) curve of the original trigger.

The gun shot extremely well prior to the new trigger and it is even better now and I am ready to carry it often.

However I am using any of three holsters that I have for other guns. The M&P "Fit" all three but I am having problems with the safety coming off safe and the magazine popping loose.

Do not feel comfortable carrying it if if I can not find a correction to the magazine and I am actually contemplating removing the safety and plugging the hole.

This is a great shooting gun.

Can any of you folks suggest an IWB holster for the M&P 45 2.0 FULL SIZE.

Thanks in advance.

Also, I have read of folks having problems with magazines detaching in M&P Compacts and Shields. Could I have a problem with the mag release spring?????

I also have three Shields (40 1.0, 45 2.0 with green laser and 45 PC). No problems with them.

Thanks in advance!

I have;

Galco IWB. It is rough side out which helps avoid the holster coming out of pants when drawing the gun.

Sparks EXecutive Companion IWB. It is my favorite holster. The extra leather molds around your hips. Surprisingly it is very comfortable once it is broke in.

Both holsters are reinforced to keep the holster from flattening when the gun is out of the holster.

Neither holster has anything that :eek:might catch the trigger when drawing or reholstering your gun.

IMO ditch the thumb safety. Other than my 1911’s and a single Beretta 92FS none of my pistols have a thumb safety. The 92FS is a spare that I don’t carry but I keep intending have the safety converted to G Decocking.

Everything depends on holster manufacturer.
I'm carrying M&P9 M2 full size, ambi safety, mag release reversed for left hand.

1. Muddy River Tactical holsters - all 3 I got had to be adjusted. Even they were ordered for specific model, I did a hard time with mag release button being pressed by holster and safety lever riding hard on holster.
I used heat gun to adjust the kydex - all was perfect since then

2. Legacy Firearm Co holster - perfect fit, no issues at all

3. Tier 1 Concealed holster - perfect fit, no issues at all

I think the old slogan tells the truth: "You got what you paid for" :)

Thanks! The holster I have been carrying my 45 full size in a Muddy River........going to get the heat gun out.

I am left handed and release the magazines with the middle finger of my left hand. Being left handed in a right hand world I have learned in many arenas to use right handed set ups.

So if you are using Muddy's holster... unfortunately you are on your own. I've tried to deal with them, actually they are very nice people, but everytime the holsters came back after adjusting... it ended up with using the heat gun by myself...

japolo I have used a Comp-Tac MTAC for years and have a M&P 4.25 40 with a thumb safety and have never had an issue with it being turned off ! My M&P 40 has a 3lb 6 to 8oz trigger pull thanks to apex and an FSS trigger kit . I wear this at 3:00 adjust for a high forward cant .

The kydex body is easily changed for different handguns but my M&P body was also notched at the front to allow use of my wifes M&P PC CORE also and works for carry that way .

Kramer horsehide. THE best.

Thanks folks for all the great replies!

I ordered an IWB from We The People. I have two of these for my Shields 40 1.0, 45 2.0 with laser and 45 2.0 PC). Those have worked great for the three ish years I have had them. Thought I would see if they work well with the Full Size 2.0 45.

I do so much want to carry the 45 full size as it is not meant to be a safe queen.

Again, Thanks!

Too late but I thought I'd put this option out there for anyone else who might be looking for a quality Kydex IWB holster.

Tulster. I have several of their Kydex IWB and they are the best (and I've tried many other brands) holster I've ever carried. I highly recommend them.

I got 2 holsters, C&G is still being processed and the for now that clears my optic is a Desantis Pegasus. Mine is a 9 tho, didn't see one for the 45 in store.

I actually have the kit for my M9A1 but need the punch that fits. Once I do that, I'll toss it back into the rotation.
