Just as important as the holster is the belt. Get the thickest dang belt you can find. Carrying full size is gonna want to pull your pants down all day long. I’d wear suspenders with my thick belt but my kids said no.

I agree that a good belt really helps. My favorite belt is from Mean Gene Leather with an infinitely adjustable Aegis buckle. It’s thick and strong enough to easily support a fullsize gun and spare mags. Even though it’s my favorite, it’s still not perfect. It’s a bit too thick, and some holster loops are difficult to thread through.

As convenient and inexpensive as kydex is (and I make kydex stuff all the time), I look at it like this:
