perhaps a model 34, maybe a 2-1/2 incher, round butt of course...just about perfect for "up close and personal"....I know it'll be loud, but very concealable and light, and there's always the very real potential of a nice warming fire as the bad guy's clothing burns....just a thought

Mr. Zercool is correct.Besides the model 34 does not come in the MAG.Have to go to the model 651 for the mag.If you want a older one. They are nice but a little elusive and high.Believe me I know!

They also made these with a 2” barrel and the fixed sight 650’s came with a 3” barrel. Loud... :)

Take a look at the current 351c. A 7 shot concealed hammer no lock in 22 mag.

i would like to stumble onto a nice 651....my 648 doesnt get too dirty, really depends on the ammo...i can shoot a few hundred before it gets really dirty

What I had in mind was one of those revolvers that one "carries a lot and shoots a little". Car gun/belley gun...go to church gun...as small or smaller than a mdl.60, 6-7-8 shooter, up close and really personal...at that point recoil is unfelt and noise is unnoticed at the time...as much or more tissue disruption that most .38 cartridges out of that short of a bbl.
