j frame 642 and laser grip question

I have a 642 and want to buy a laser grip from crimson trace, the LG 405. It looks like the laser shoots right under the cylinder and i cannot figure out how it clears my right gripping hand? Can someone please explain?

i have both model's of lasers on my j frames.the laser is outside the cylinder and my hand has never blocked the laser on either model crimson laser.

I have three CT's. One on a 637, and one each on my two GP100's. They are strictly for right handed shooters. The laser goes above your trigger finger, and a two-handed grip doesn't cover it up. Shooting left handed, however, your right hand can cover it up using a two-hand grip.
