J Frame ejector problems

Looking for any advice to repair a Model 36.
When ejecting the ejector seems tight when pushing. If I rotate the cylinder the ejector works smooth, then rotate cylinder it seems to tight. So depending where the cylinder is the ejector rod works perfect or is tight.
I fitted and changed the ejector rod, but no change.
So what do you guys think?
Bad center pin? Or bent yoke?

So what happened, I don't know.
The revolver worked fine when I let a friend borrow it.
Dropped? Slammed cylinder shut?

Sounds to me like either a bent ejector rod (or rods), incorrectly fit ER's, or a bent Yoke.

Solved.....I was gonna check yoke alignment, and found a
sharp burr had formed at the fwd end of the yoke id. I deburred hole and all is good. And the
old ejector rod (tube) was a
little bent.
